Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of preventing the scale of cooling water systems of heat exchangers of building air conditioners, general factories, petrochemical complexes. SOLUTION: This method of preventing the scale of the cooling water system makes water pass to a facility in the open circulation cooling water systems into contact with the inorganic matter which is the same as or similar to the scale, in which an alkaline agent is added to the cooling water before the cooling water is brought into contact with the inorganic matter.
