Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a light projection and reception device which can prevent reflected light from the light reception surface of a light reception part from being emitted from a light projection and reception branch means to a projection side. SOLUTION: The light projection and reception device having a light projecting means having a light emission part projecting linear polarized light, a light receiving means having a light reception part, and the light projection and reception branch means for making the projection light and reception light branch is equipped with a polarization state converting means which converts the linear polarized light into circular polarized light and transmits it between the light reception part and light projection and reception branch means. |
