Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital transmission type ATC device allowing a train passing a track circuit to positively receive a telegraphic message transmitted from a ground side even when the track circuit is short. SOLUTION: When the train 2 enters the track circuit 2T, a level determining part 22 inside a receiver 20 determines that a receiving level of an ATC signal has dropped below a threshold and it detects the train 2. When the train 2 is detected, a counter 13B carries out resetting action in accordance with a signal from a transmit control part 12. By this, transmission of a telegraphic message from a memory part 13A is reset. An information preparing part 11 sends presently held speed control information to the memory part 13A by the resetting action of the counter 13B, and it restarts the counter 13B. The memory part 13A forms a telegraphic message on the basis of the speed control information from the information preparing part 11 and it sends the formed telegraphic message from the beginning in association with counting action of the counter 13B.
