PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow molding made of a polyester composition which, without being deformed, can keep the self-standing quality even after the heat sterilization treatment following charging a liquid of non-carbonated beverages, and the like, into the molding, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: The hollow molding of the polyester resin composition consists of a polyester (A) and a modified polyethylene (B), characteristically the modified polyethylene (B) being contained in an amount of less than 10 ppm. This hollow molding can be manufactured by forming a perform from the polyester resin composition and then draw forming the perform by stretch blow molding or injection blow molding into the crystallinity in the range of 15-60%. According to this invention, it is possible to adjust the semi-crystallization time T determined by the temperature elevation method on a DSC to 60-200 seconds and to obtain a heat-resistant hollow molding.
