Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of a hybridization process to a plurality of types of DNA probes of different Tm. SOLUTION: Spots 7 containing one type of DNA probe or the plurality of types of DNA probes of the same Tm and length are arranged in a channel 3 sequentially from the spot 7 containing the DNA probe of high Tm from one end side of the channel 3 to the other end side. After a sample is injected in a reservoir 5 communicating to the one end side of the channel 3 to introduce a predetermined amount of the sample into the channel 3, the sample 3 is moved from the one end side of the channel 3 to the other end side by electrophoresis. At this time, the temperature of the area is controlled according to the Tm of the DNA probe of the spot 7 at which the sample is located. With the movement of the sample, the temperature is controlled in such a way as to gradually lower temperature in the channel 3 according to the Tm of the DNA probe of the spot 7 at which the sample is located.
