PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give operation leading a massage effect or a rubdown-with-a- dry-towel effect on an affected area of the whole body to be massaged while maintaining the most suitable; and comfortable treatment posture desired by a patient receiving the massage. SOLUTION: Several suspended bands suspended in the shape of U are installed in series in its width direction (two or more trains may be installed as required) to form a U character ditch-type space, the position and height of the supporting point of each suspended band are so adjusted that the comfortable treatment posture, desired by the patient, is held and the patient is picked up inside the U character ditch-type space as shown in the figure and suspend in the air to hold him or her, and to give massage operation to each suspended band, thus giving a massage to the affected area held by the above suspended bands. A supporting point movement is given to a suspended band supporting point as required, enabling further improvement of the massage effect. The massage operation and the supporting-point movement of the suspended band supporting point may be changed to the operation or movement for providing the rubdown-with-a-dry-towel effect.
