Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information equipment that relieves the capacity of a flash ROM by avoiding module overlapping between a part (basic program) on an unrewritable segment and a part (expansion program) on a rewritable segment in a control program stored in the flash ROM to reduce the entire size of the control program. SOLUTION: In accessing a module in the basic program, jumping is performed by referring to a module address table on a rewritable segment on a RAM or the flash ROM. When the expansion program is normal and also includes an updated module, the updated module is accessed, and at any time other than that time, the original module in the basic program is accessed by jumping.
