Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a printing speed throughout a printer device by using an interface making it possible to transmit data at a high speed without any special device for elongation. SOLUTION: An interface 3 has a control line 3a which makes it possible to make bidirectional communication for exchanging controlling signals of every kind between a printer controller 2 and a printing engine 1 and a data line 3b having one may communication which transmits an image data from the printer controller 2 to the printer engine 1 in one direction. Therefore the control line 3a for exchanging controlling signals of every kind and the data line 3b for transmitting image data can be separated and a transmission and receiving of image data at a high speed becomes possible because exchanging of controlling signals when image data is transmitted, is not necessary. Then a transmission by protocol which is simpler than the bidirectional communication not only becomes possible but also a cheep transmitting and receiving module can be used because the data line 3b which one way communicates is used when image data is transmitted. |
