Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calling card management system and a method therefor capable of managing calling cards of users at the center to manage many calling cards corresponding to the users and facilitate retrieval. SOLUTION: This calling card management system comprises a layout recognition part 4 for transmitting a calling card 11 to a center 1 by facsimile by nipping it in a holder 12 for transmitting calling card, receiving it in a FAX control part 3, and determining the identification code of the user based on layout of the holder 12 for transmitting calling card to authenticate the contracted user, an input operation processing part 5 for segmenting and displaying each calling card from received facsimile signals and inputting the contents of the calling cards in accordance with the display contents, a database 2 for registering the contents of the calling cards inputted by the input operation processing part 5 corresponding to the users, and a retrieval management part 7 for sending retrieval menu in accordance with a calling card retrieval demand from a terminal unit 16 of the contracted user and sending the contents of display of the retrieval menu in the terminal unit 16 and the contents of the calling card from the database 2 in accordance with the information specified by the user to the user's terminal unit 16. |
