Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be a light portable type and to effect cutting in a short time as much as possible. SOLUTION: A pipe cutting device being a portable type pipe cutting device 11 comprises a guide member 12 wound around the outer peripheral surface of a pipe P; a frame 13; a cutting mechanism 15 having a rotary blade 14 situated on the frame 13; a cross feed mechanism 16 to effect movement in a contact and separation state of the rotary blade 14 of the cutting mechanism 15 along a pipe axis; and a device 17 to feed a cutting agent for cooling to the rotary blade 14. The frame 13 pivotally supports a sprocket 13a, engaged with the guide member 12, and rotatable rolling roller 13b on the under surface side and is provided with a rotation mechanism 13c for the sprocket 13a. The frame 13 is movable through the rolling roller 13b over the outer peripheral surface of the pipe P along the guide member 12 through rotation of the sprocket 13a. Thus, even in a limited place, the pipe can be cut easily and in a short time as much as possible.
