PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing capable of operating in a long time and in high reliability. SOLUTION: In the rolling bearing comprised of an outer ring 1 having a first bearing face 6, an inner ring 2 provided with an option having a second bearing face 7, and a rolling body 3 having a surface 5 that is formed in a cone-shaped state and also rolling out between a conical raceway and a cylindrical raceway, the conical raceway and cylindrical raceway are formed each time by the bearing faces of mechanical elements 10 and 11 in cooperation with one of the bearing faces 6 and 7 of the outer ring and the inner rings 1 and 2 respectively or the outer and inner rings. Therefore, an angle that is surrounded by the surface 5 of the rolling body 3 and a center axis 9 of the roller 3 is maximum 3 degrees, and the surface 5 of the rolling body 3 has a curve with a convex shape while the rolling body is rolling over the bearing face of the outer ring. As the cone-shape of the rolling body is also overlapped on the above-mentioned curved surface of rolling body, the rolling body can be operated in high reliability for a long time.
