Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for water treatment by which number of treatment processes or the like can be reduced. SOLUTION: Treatment water is transferred to an anaerobic bubble separator 3 where a floating cloudy matter is separated in bubbles by supplying minute bubbles of nitrogen gas and the treatment water is placed under the anaerobic condition. The treatment water put under the anaerobic condition is transferred to a de-nitrogen trough 4 where biological denitrification treatment is carried out. The treatment water is transferred to an aerobic bubble separator 5 after completion of the denitrification treatment, where ammonia and nitrous acid are oxidized by supplying minute air bubbles added with ozone and denitrification bacterial flock and excess organic material are separated in bubbles and then the treatment water is returned to the aerobic condition. An oxidant generated in the treatment water returned to the aerobic condition by the air added with ozone is adsorbed and removed an activated carbon filter 6. Treatment water after removal of the oxidant is transferred to a sand filtering trough 7 where the floating cloudy matter in the treatment water is removed and the ammonia and nitrous acid still left after the ozone treatment are biologically nitrified.
