Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflective liquid crystal display device preventing variation of a display from being generated corresponding to an angle of observation by diffusing external light. SOLUTION: The reflective liquid crystal display device is provided with a TFT(thin film transistor) substrate 10 and a counter electrode substrate 30 which are placed opposite to each other and of which the peripheries are stuck 24 to each other, a liquid crystal 23 held in a gap between both substrate 10, 30 formed by the sticking, TFT elements and reflective display electrodes 19 connected to the TFT elements equipped on the TFT substrate 10, a titanium dioxide (TiO2) film which is an insulation layer with specific inductive capacity larger than that of an SiO2 film on the reflective display electrodes 19 and a counter electrode 34 placed opposite to the reflective display electrodes 19 on the counter electrode substrate 30. |
