Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To introduce water to a rainwater storage tank by removing a foreign matter such as smoke dust and bird droppings in gathered water so as not to clog an outflow hole in the initial stage of a rainfall and at low rainfall quantity time per time. SOLUTION: In this rainwater separator B5 for introducing the water to the storage tank by removing the foreign matter in gathered rainwater, the rainwater separator is composed of a cylindrical first storage chamber 5 for storing the gathered water, a taper pipe 7 arranged in the bottom part and having a lower part of a small diameter, a cylindrical second storage chamber 6, the outflow hole 8 arranged in the bottom part, a float 9 vertically movably inserted into the first storage chamber 5, a valve seat part 9c for contacting with and separating from a valve seat surface 7c of the float 9, a noncontact part forming means arranged in the valve seat part 9c and forming a noncontact part on the valve seat surface 7c at seating time, a straight line bar-shaped cleaning bar 10 for vertically penetrating through the outflow hole 8 and a recess-projection part arranged in the outer diameter. A branch pipe 4 communication with the storage tank is arranged in an upper part of the first storage chamber 5. |
