Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle equipment with theft preventive device capable of providing the same theft, preventive effect as that provided when an operating panel is removed without carrying out the operating panel to the outside of a cabin. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle equipment comprises an operation button 12 formed so as to be projectable from the surface of the operating panel 11 of the on-vehicle equipment, a drive mechanism 13 for driving the operation button 12, and a control mechanism for controlling the operation of the drive mechanism 13. Thus, the same theft preventive effect as provided when the operation panel is removed can be provided without carrying out the operation panel of the on-vehicle equipment to the outside of the cabin.
