Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To activate software while improving expressing capabilities by operating an icon. SOLUTION: An algorithm 11 for reproducing a moving image constituting an agent icon control 1 is provided with an image file 111 including a series of icon image information constituting the operation of an icon. An activation command issuing algorithm 12 is provided with an icon/application corresponding table 120 for making an icon correspond to an application. The algorithm 11 for reproducing the moving image continuously displays a series of icon image information on the screen of a display device 2 as the operation of the icon. When the icon to be operated is double-clicked by a pointing device 3, the activation command issuing algorithm 12 retrieves the icon/application corresponding table 120, and issues the activation command of an application related to the icon.
