Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens holding frame and its manufacturing method by which positional accuracy in the assembly of a lens in a frame is secured without depending on optical adjustment and secondary machining. SOLUTION: As for this lens holding frame and the manufacturing method, a lens frame 2 is mounted on a positioning member 3 and precisely fit in an aligning positioning projecting part 9 in such a state, and the lens 1 is pressed via a tapered part 8 and mounted on the frame 2 while it is aligned with the optical axis of the frame 2.
