Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser therapeutic device for otolaryngology used for the therapy of ears and a throat as well as for pollinosis, dispensing with anesthesia for therapy without inflicting pain on a patient, and allowing a probe to be autoclaved. SOLUTION: In this laser therapeutic device 10, a light guide path of the probe 1 has an outer diameter of 1 mm-3 mm and is led out by about 80 mm-200 mm in length, and the tip is formed in conical shape with a vertical angle of 70-90 deg. or 95-110 deg.. Laser beams with a wavelength of 2-4 μm, an energy density of 10 mJ-100 mJ/mm2/pulse in an irradiated surface and 1 pps-10 pps pulse are irradiated from the probe 1 to thermally modify or coagulate the ear hole internal wall, nasal cavity mucous membrane and throat internal wall.
