Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and compact drum clothes dryer having an air duct with a simple structure and assembled from a small number of parts. SOLUTION: The clothes drier has a rotating-drum drying chamber, placed rotatably within an outer frame, for housing an object to be dried, a circulating air duct for returning drying air, discharged from the drying chamber, to the drying chamber, a blowing means for making the drying air flow into the drying chamber, a heating member for heating the drying air flowing into the drying chamber, and a heat exchanger for allowing the moisture contained in the drying air to be condensed and eliminated. The clothes drier is also provided with an air-conditioning air duct for circulating air-conditioning air, whose temperature or humidity is controlled, to the outer frame, an outside-air inlet port and an air-conditioning exhaust port communicating with the air- conditioning air duct, and an air-permeable air-conditioning body of rotation, which is placed in such a manner as to face the circulating air duct and the air-conditioning air duct and where gas flowing through both of the above air ducts is circulated.
