Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forging press die which can prevent generation of burrs in a mating surface of dies when the forging press die comprises a plurality of dies. SOLUTION: A lip is provided on one die forming at least one matching surface of the dies forming a cavity of a product shape by combining a plurality of dies, and a space housing this lip is provided on the other die, and the lip is engaged with the space.
