Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article selecting system, with which an optimal article can be selected out of various kinds of selectable articles. SOLUTION: Article information in an article information master 2 has plural selection condition items and each of article information has a peculiar value. Besides, a condition weight master 3 has weight information based on designation ranking when any one of selection condition items is designated as an article selection condition. When any selection condition item is set as an article selection condition together with ranking thereof by an article selecting means 5, according to set contents, the value of the weight information and the value of the selection condition item provided with the article information are multiplied so that the priority can be determined. When plural kinds of article information are correspondent, according to this priority, the article information is displayed.
