Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a columnar iron core having a circular cross section in the radial direction by which the productivity and quality of the iron core can be improved, by laminating a plurality of steel sheets having different widths in the radial direction. SOLUTION: Steel sheets are punched from a band steel sheet 4 by using multiple rows of transfer dies and controlling the slitting timing by sequence control. In this case, an iron core is formed in the dies by laminating the punched steel sheet pieces upon another by adopting such a layout constitution that the punched widths of the steel sheet pieces change from a broad width to a narrow width and from a narrow width to the broad width. |
