Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair washing apparatus which can be manufactured at extremely low costs and can be easily used by a helper, so that hair of a person in need of nursing care can be washed, while he is in a comfortable position, without feeling uneasiness, and hair washing water can be prevented from scattering. SOLUTION: In the hair washing apparatus wherein a feed water tank 4 is provided, at a level higher than a hair washing level, on the upper part of a movable truck 2 provided with wheels 1 at its lower part, and a shower 7, into which water naturally flows down from the feed water tank, is provided, a washstand 8 is provided for the truck so as to be vertically movable with respect to the hair washing level of a person in need of nursing care and turnable as well in the hair washing level. The washstand 8 is horizontally movably provided on a movable guide 9 turnably provided on a support, while a head set base 13 and a water scattering preventing curtain 11 are provided.
