SOLUTION: A refrigerator, which has a fan 26 for circulating the cold air within a cold storage room 5, is equipped with a wind direction changing means 25, which changes the discharge direction of the cold air the cold storage room 5 circulated by a circulation fan 26, a door opening and closing detection means which detects the opening and closing of the door 10, and a controller which has the function of driving the circulation fan 26 and controlling the wind direction changing means 25 for prescribed time period so that it changes in all the directions.
