PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granular and powdery material intermittent discharge apparatus capable of surely performing constant-quantity intermittent discharge of the granular and powdery material regardless of vibration in pressure of a granular and powdery material transport pipe. SOLUTION: This granular and powdery material intermittent discharge apparatus for intermittently discharging a constant quantity of a granular and powdery material in storing containers 3a, 3b to a transport pipe 10 for air- transporting the granular and powdery material, includes container pressure detecting means 23a, 23b for detecting the pressure in the storing containers 3a, 3b, transport pipe pressure detecting means 25a, 25b for detecting the pressure in the transport pipe 10, and pressure regulating means 27a, 27b for regulating the pressure in the storing containers 3a, 3b to be higher than the pressure in the transport pipe 10 according to the detection results of the container pressure detecting means 23a, 23b and the transport pipe pressure detecting means 25a, 25b.
