Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a highly minute pattern, to eliminate a transfer fault of an ink and to improve linearity by adopting an intaglio and letterpress plate having an intaglio for receiving an ink at a periphery of a protrusion formed on a surface of a plate cylinder in a printing plate for printing a multicolor pattern on a base material. SOLUTION: This printing plate is constituted of an intaglio and letterpress plate having an intaglio 4 as an ink receiving portion formed on an ink transfer surface 3 at a top portion of a letterpress 2, and an ink 5 filled in the intaglio 4 is transferred when printed. Then, a height H to the top of the letterpress 2 is preferably set to 0.1 to 5 mm with respect to a thickness of a colored pattern to be printed. The letterpress 2 is formed at a pitch 6 coincident with an ink pattern to be printed. A width W of the intaglio 4 formed at a central portion of the letterpress 2 is preferably set, for example, to (W1-5 μm) to (W1-50 μm). Further, a depth of the intaglio 2 is preferably set, for example, to 1 to 100 μm.
