Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burdens on workers by making a constitution that automatically stops the calculation of reactor output distributions on the basis of a signal of a local region output monitor when a calibrated value of a sensitivity of the local region output monitor is calculated on the basis of data for sensitivity calibration. SOLUTION: This core monitor consists of a monitor 2, an input-output unit 3 and a process input/output unit 1. When a worker directs the monitor 2 to calibrate the sensitivity of a local region output monitor from the input-output unit 3, the monitor 2 gives directions to the process input/output unit 1, the data for sensitivity calibration is measured by a movable in-core calibrator and data about a plant are acquired. When the measurement of the data for sensitivity calibration finishes, the monitor 2 carries out a judgment processing on whether data is abnormal or not. If the sensitivity calibration finishes normally, the monitor 2 stops the calculation of routine output distributions, performs the calculation of output distributions in sensitivity calibration and, from its result, calculates the calibrated value of sensitivity. When the worker calibrates sensitivity on the basis of the calibrated value of sensitivity and inputs the completion of calibration into the monitor 2, it calculates reactor output distributions, stores the values of them and switches over to the calculation of routine output distributions. |
