Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a fault recovery destination database separately from a database which is being composed and to restart original operation in a short time by using it. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with a recomposition source database 1 as a source of recomposition, a recomposition destination database 12 which is generated by recomposition, a latest record extraction work file 3 which temporarily contains the latest data of the recomposition source database and recomposition destination database when the recomposition of the database is interrupted, and the fault recovery destination database 4 composed of the latest records, and has a latest record extracting means 2 which performs retrieval from the recomposition source database and recomposition destination database to extract unique records of both the database as the latest records and store them in the fault recovery destination database.
