PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dressing for the anus which facilitates the procedure of the wound in the anal canal and the wound around the anus continuous therewith, lessens the impartation of a stimulus on a user and has a high wound healing effect. SOLUTION: This dressing has intra-anal canal insertion parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 to be inserted and indwelt in the anal canal. The intra-anal canal insertion parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are composed of any one among a hydrophilic binder composition prepared by mixing hydrophilic power with a binder composition, an open continuous foam of a hydrophilic component, an assemblage of hydrophilic fibers and hydrophilic gel or the composite consisting of any combination thereof. These parts have the nature to swell or decay or to swell and decay by absorbing the liquid secreted from the inside of the anal canal and have a smooth surface and the size at which the dressing can be indwelt into the anal canal.
