Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a thin battery provided with a laminated jacket reducing sealing failure and enhancing storage characteristics of the battery by surely welding a sealed part. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method comprises a process for constructing a laminated jacket 1, a process for storing a power generating element, a process for sealing an outer region of the laminated armor 1 except a part to be an injection port, a process for injecting a mixture or electrolyte from an injection port and a process for sealing the injection port. The injection port is formed on one part of a side of the outer region of the laminated armor 1 and the entire injection port resides on a part other than the part where the welded part laminated with one end and the other end of the laminated armor 1 is placed or on the part where the welded part laminated with one end and the other end of the laminated armor 1 is placed.
