Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To put functions for repairing a wrong part in one chip by providing a repair program recorded in a rewritable flash memory part and a means which replaces a detected wrong part of a program with the repairing program. SOLUTION: When a wrong program 104 is to be executed while a program in a fixed program ROM area 101 is being run, its address matches a wrong address 106 set in a wrong part detection register 105, so the wrong part is detected. A wrong part detection signal is used as a trigger to branch to a correcting program start address 108 set in a register 107 for correcting program start address and then the correcting program 109 is run without executing the wrong program 104, thereby avoiding trouble. At the end of the correcting program 109, an instruction for returning to the normal program is executed. |
