Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for generating higher stress in a thin-film material, and an appropriate tool for executing the method in the tool for measuring strength being used for the biaxial tension test of the thin-film material using a one-axis tension tester. SOLUTION: A through hole is provided at the measurement part of a plate- shaped measurement tool for developing tensile force in the biaxial direction when traction is made in a one-axis direction, and a thin-film material is fixed for measuring while the through hole is covered. A measurement tool has a measurement part 3, a tension lever 6 that is extended from one opposite side 5 of the measurement part 3 in a vertical direction, a support lever 12 that is extended from both the end parts of the other 11 in the vertical direction, and an operation lever 13 that is extended in parallel with the support lever 12 inside each support lever 12, and a force lever 9 that is obliquely extended from the tip of the tension lever 6 and then is extended in parallel with the tension lever 6 where the tip side of a middle part is connected to the tip of the support lever for interlocking the tip to the operation lever 13.
