Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a biologically degradable and absorbable polymer having a metal content of 1-20 ppm. SOLUTION: This flexible biologically degradable and absorbable polymer having a low metal content is synthesized by copolymerizing lactic acid lactide with -caprolactone in the presence of a small amount of metal-based catalyst (a catalyst based on sodium, potassium, aluminum or tin). Thereby, the flexible copolymer not needing the removal of the catalyst can be synthesized. |
