Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute the read of data from a bar code and the write/read of information data to a storage circuit by providing an information identifying part printed with a bar code on the surface of a card-shaped medium. SOLUTION: A memory tag 20 with bar code is used while being stuck on an article 15 as an object to be managed in the integral structure of adhering a bar code label 13 composed of the same shape and the same area as an IC memory tag 10 on the surface of the IC memory tag 10. Relating to the bar code label 13, binary codes expressed by thick lines, fine lines or their intervals are printed on a paper-shaped label and simple data such as ID number or production date on the article 15 can be recorded. The bar code printed on the bar code label is optically read by a dedicated reader and based on data read from the bar code by a computer system connected to a reader, various kinds of information on the article 15 can be extracted from a data base.
