Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make simultaneously measurable the heat conductivity and temp. conductivity of a sample to be measured such as a rock or the like present in the natural world by supply ing constant power to a heating wire to calculate the heat conductivity of the sample to be measured and simultaneously using this heat conductivity and a linear gradient to calculate the temperature conductivity of the sample to be measured by a specified formula. SOLUTION: A sensor substrate having a heating wire and a thermocouple embedded in the surface part thereof and the surface of a sample to be measured such as a rock or the like are brought into a close contact state and constant power is supplied to the heating wire at a predetermined temperature to calculate the heating value (q) (w/m) per unit length and unit time of the heating wire. Next, the heating time (t) (sec) of the heating wire and the rising temp. Δθ(k) at the position nearest to the heating wire are measured by a thermocouple and the proximity of a linear gradient S1 is obtained from a rising temp. Δθ-logarithmic time In(t) drawing line by the method of least squares to calculate heat conductivity λ[w(m.k)]. At the same time, a linear gradient S2 is calculated from the ΔθIJ-I/t drawing line due to the heating value (q), the heating time (t) and the temp. difference ΔθIJ measured by the distances XI, XJ (mm) from the heating wire and, by the formula (wherein λ2 and a2 are the heat and temperature conductivities) using the gradient S2 and the heat conductivity λ, temp. conductivity (a) (m2/S) is calculated.
