Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a pressure loss and contrive the lowering of power consumption when the amount of circulating air is determined by a cleanness in a room by a method wherein air, entering into a cooling unit, is divided into a plurality of divisions of air, passing through cooling units and non-cooling units, by a dividing means and, thereafter, the divisions of air are mixed by an air mixing unit. SOLUTION: Air, sent out of FFUs 11 installed on the upper surface of a ceiling, and entered into an underfloor space 13 through a clean room 12, is entered into a cooling part 14 and a part of the air passes through a cooling unit 15 but the balance of the air is passed through a bypass unit 16. The air after passing through the cooling unit 15, is mixed into the air after passing through the bypass unit 16 in a return shaft 17 and, thereafter, are returned into the FFUs 11. The bypass unit is prepared in such a manner whereby the air, bypassing without passing through cooling coils 152, will not generate any pressure loss due to the cooling coils 152 thereby permitting the reduction of the pressure loss due to passing through the cooling coils.
