Summary:A method of managing QoS in a multi-hop network, comprising obtaining by a first node, first information on conditions at a plurality of second nodes, the first information being obtained from the plurality of second nodes, identifying by the first node, a plurality of routes, selecting by the first node a first route for a first bearer (or for data for a first logical channel (LCH)), based on the first information, second information on network topology and a first QoS corresponding to the first bearer (or first LCH), wherein the first bearer (or first LCH) corresponds to a first user equipment (UE) or a third node in the multi-hop network, and transmitting the selected first route to the second nodes. Further, selecting, a second route for a second bearer (or for data for a second LCH), based on the first information, the second information and a second QoS corresponding to the second bearer (or second LCH), wherein the second bearer (or second LCH) corresponds to a second UE or a fourth node, and transmitting the selected second route to the second nodes. Treatment of the bearers (or LCHs) is normalized such that the first QoS is achieved regardless of the first UE attaches or where the third node is located; or such that the second QoS is achieved regardless of where the second UE attaches or where the fourth node is located.
