A venting member 100 for an infant feeding bottle assembly comprising a first member portion 101 having a tube portion 130 with a first opening 132 and a second opening 134 and a second member portion 102 configured to be mountable on the first member portion so that the second opening of the first member portion is selectively closed by the second member portion. An inlet 112 is provided for venting air and is configured so the inlet is fluidly connected to the first opening of the first member portion when the second member portion is mounted on the first member portion. The venting member is configured to be mounted to a container of an infant feeding bottle assembly so that the first opening is disposed within the container. The first member portion and second portion are integrally formed by injection moulding. Other embodiments of the venting member are provided along with associated methods.
