A display apparatus includes display module 100 that includes a display panel 110 and is configured to display an image. A rear cover 300 is on a rear surface of the display module. A first vibration generating module 400 is configured to vibrate the rear cover, and a second vibration generating module 500 is configured to vibrate the display module. The rear cover may include a first hole that overlaps the first vibration gnerating module and a second hole that overlaps the second vibration generating module.Vibrations in the rear cover may generate a sound pressure in the first hole, creating a sound wave which vibrates the display module. Alternatively, the vibrations in the rear cover may be translated to the diplay module via a side cover part 330. The second vibration generating module may generate a second sound wave in a second hole in the rear cover to vibrate the displa module. The first and second vibration modules may use piezoelectric vibration devices.
