Abstract A method of making stable, anhydrous concentrated formulation tablet comprising an acidic cleaner, a basic cleaner e.g. sodium carbonate and surfactant, especially for cleaning products. The method comprises providing medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil and adding it to a basic cleaner powder and surfactant powder to produce a powder blend, the powder blend is placed into a powder press, pressed and then at least a portion of MCT oil is removed and used to create a hydrophobic layer on the exterior of the powder blend, pressure is then removed to produce an anhydrous tablet.
