Abstract | Assembly for transportation or storage of plants comprising: open, rigid base member 21; a retention net 4 to fit over base member; where retention net is formed from rectangular unitary piece of mesh fabric with opposed elastic sides with cinch points 55 to form net with elastic perimeter 41. Preferably, net is knitted fabric which can stretch to 200% original size, with 0.375-10mm holes in relaxed state and 0.75-25mm holes in extended state. Preferably, net comprises 0.5-2cm reinforced band 51 of denser material. Preferably, mesh is 10-50 denier polypropylene, with additional light reflecting substance, plant feed, pesticides or insect repellents. Preferably, base comprises outwardly extending lip 22 or hooks insert through hole in net to retain net. Preferably, net is supplied as connected chain, and has longitudinal elastic line across the net and has elastic yarns incorporated in knitted structure to provide elastic edges. Invention reduces condensation. |
