Summary:An installed wireless device 430 is described having an at least partially reflective casing and allowing an incident light beam emanating from a light source 450 aimed at the installed wireless device to at least partially reflect from it and thereby to project a spot 4100 or small area of light onto a surface 420. The location of the light source and a linear distance between the light source and the spot or small area of light allows the calculation of the pointing angle of an installed wireless device. The pointing angle allowing for any error in the pointing angle to be determined.
