Abstract | A spatial location device for locating a user device comprising a wireless distance estimation device operable to determine a first distance between the user device and a known datum, a wireless geo-location device operable to obtain a first spatial location estimate, a controller is coupled to the estimation device and geo-location device and operates to determine a second distance to the user device based on the first estimate of the location, the controller arranged to report an error to a downstream process of system based on a comparison of the first and second distance estimates. The location system preferably includes a beam-forming system arranged to steer antenna lobes such that they overlap or intersect at the user device and the user devices location is determined based on received signals from the user device. |
