| Abstract | The invention relates to a pressing device (10) comprising a pressing tape (48) for pressing finishing tape against circumferential surfaces (38) of substantially cylindrical workpiece sections (36) during a finishing process in such a way that the finishing tape is pressed against a circumferential surface (38) with a specific pressing force at a pressure angle (46), the pressing tape (48) being supported on two supporting bearings (52) which are arranged on both sides of the pressure angle (46) and which are part of a supporting element (26) that has at least one pivot axis (28). |
