Abstract | There are various method and systems disclosed. These method and systems comprise receiving 205 a plurality of data streams from a vehicle, with at least one of the data streams including multimedia data. Performing a prioritisation 220 of the data streams according to one or more factors. And at least adjusting 240 one of the data streams and/or preventing transmission of at least one of the data streams, according to the prioritization. Another system is disclosed where the plurality of data streams are all multimedia data streams from multimedia sensors. The factors may include bandwidth consumption, data concerning the operator of the computer or vehicle state. The adjustment of the data streams can including changing the resolution or size of an image being transmitted. The data streams may also include data about speed and/or steering angle of vehicle. The invention provides a mechanism for managing the data streams within a vehicle, especially with multiple cameras on the vehicle. This can help to improve the quality of a remote operators experience. |
