Summary: | The automobile has front side doors 16 and rear side doors, two front individual seats 3, 4 arranged in the area of the front side doors and a rear seat arrangement 5 arranged in the area of the rear side doors. A column 22 for accommodating three-point safety belts 19 for the individual seats 3, 4 is mounted between them in the area of their backrests 14. This column 22 is mounted on the floor 23 of the vehicle. The shoulder belt 20 of the respective safety belt is mounted in the area of the upper end of the column 22 and the lap belt 21 of the respective safety belt is mounted in the area of the lower end of the column. The column 22 houses an airbag in the front for extension forwardly between the seats 3, 4 and two airbags in the rear to extend across the region of the seat arrangement 5. |
