Abstract The invention relates to a glazing comprising a variable light diffusion system having a layer based on active elements, that can switch between a transparent state and a translucent state, at least two substrates arranged either side of the variable light diffusion system, and at least one substrate comprising a set of discrete diffusing elements forming a pattern (M) covering a zone (Z), the set of discrete diffusing elements covering a maximum of 40% of the area of the zone (Z) covered by the pattern (M).
