Summary:The reactor comprises a tank (2) provided with a fluid inlet (3) and a fluid outlet (4), and a cage (15) adapted to receive and contain a solid in divided form. The cage presents a permeable peripheral wall (15a) crossed by the fluid flow, and is placed such that a portion of the wall intercepts a trajectory of flow. The cage is connected to a driving mechanism in rotation on 180[deg] around an axis that is not parallel with the trajectory of flow such that each permeable portion of the wall is crossed by the fluid flow alternatively in a direction under an effect of the rotation of the cage. The reactor comprises a tank (2) provided with a fluid inlet (3) and a fluid outlet (4), where the inlet and the outlet determine a predetermined direction of a fluid flow, and a cage (15) adapted to receive and contain a solid in divided form. The cage has a permeable peripheral wall (15a) to be crossed by the fluid flow and to retain the solid, and is placed such that a portion of the wall intercepts a trajectory of flow. The cage is connected to a driving mechanism in rotation on 180[deg] around an axis that is not parallel with the trajectory of flow such that each permeable portion of the wall is crossed by the fluid flow alternatively in a direction under an effect of the rotation of the cage. The cage has a cylindrical form and comprises openings regularly distributed on the peripheral wall and windows sealed by a permeable membrane. The peripheral wall includes two coaxial sleeves that is encased one on the other, and immobilizes the permeable membrane between the sleeves. The windows of the two sleeves are radially aligned and have same angular width. The windows are diametrically opposite. One of bases of the cage is closed by a stopper comprising a fixing unit to drive a stem of an agitator of the tank. The stopper comprises an axial boring closed by a permeable disk. An independent claim is included for a method for dissolving a solid in a fluid.
