Abstract | The cylinder has lateral surfaces parallel to axis (XX') of a bore of the cylinder, where the cylinder is made of plastic, aluminum or aluminum alloy. The surfaces do not include projections. A plane surface (p1) has transversal holes (tr1, tr2) placed with respect to the axis. A central groove (ra1) separates longitudinal ribs (n2, n3). The ribs are respectively pierced with longitudinal holes (tr3, tr4). Cavities respectively connect ends of the holes (tr3, tr4) to the bore. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a master brake cylinder.
