Abstract | The method includes cooling the fuel in the circuit, when the engine is not running, in order to condense it or prevent its evaporation. The low pressure pump (2) is controlled, e.g. by a ECU (8), in a pre-established sequence, as a function of the rise in temperature ahead of this high pressure pump (5) located between the fuel tank and the fuel dispensing unit (6). A solenoid valve (9) controlled by the ECU is situated at the outlet of the fuel dispensing unit.
Ce procédé pour améliorer les conditions de démarrage d'un moteur à combustion interne à injection directe alimenté par du carburant sous haute pression grâce à un circuit d'alimentation comprenant une pompe haute pression (5) interposée entre un réservoir de carburant (1) et une rampe de distribution de carburant (6), est remarquable en ce qu'on refroidit ledit carburant dans ledit circuit lorsque ledit moteur est à l'arrêt, pour le but de le condenser ou d'éviter sa vaporisation.Application à un moteur à combustion interne propulsant un véhicule automobile. |
